Valentine's DayRed & Gold
Valentine's Day Decorating

The red and gold 'milk can' of Lindor Truffles inspired a 'Red &
Gold' valentine's day this year. Here are some ideas I came up with
to spark up Valentine's Day decor in this color scheme.
Butterflies
on Roses Scribbles
Red and Golden Roses made of satin ribbon look gorgeous when
displayed together as a bunch. Little golden butterflies with love
notes scribbled over sit upon the dainty roses making a pretty
picture.
Red & Gold Table Setting
Set the table for a romantic dinner or even a breakfast or brunch
in reds and golds. Use red as a base and accentuate with golden
details. A red table cover with a golden runner or placemats or
napkins will look pretty. A small gift wrapped in red and gold will
complete the setting.
Red and Golden Valentine Flower Pots
I brought some of my smaller flower pots indoors and covered
their bases alternating with red and golden holographic gift wrap.
Red and Golden Candles
I love candles on my dinner table. A group of red and golden
pillar, taper and votive candles gives a romantic glow to any
setting.
Red and Golden Centerpiece
Red roses and golden floral picks in a golden vase made my simple
but elegant centerpiece for the table.
Red & Gold Valentine's Day
Card
A pretty handmade Valentine card not only serves as a gift but
also doubles up as a decorative accent throughout the day when the
receiver proudly displays it. See instructions for making this
pretty card yourself.
