Pink & Silver Valentine's Day Decorating

While the red and gold color scheme decorated my kitchen, dining and living areas, I chose a soft pink and silver theme for my bedroom. Here are some decorating inspirations I had and used in my bedroom:

Pink Bed Linen

The first thing when decorating your bedroom is the bed. Do up your bed in the chosen colors. And although this is a personal choice, i think baby pinks are too feminine and when decorating a bedroom, one should keep in mind the tastes of their significant other as well. A mixture of light and bright pinks and pinkish mauves will keep your color scheme going without making the room too girly. And white or silvery grays whenever you feel their is an overdose of pink.

Pink & Silver Flower Arrangements

Pink roses in a classic silver bowl or vase at the bedside make the room look beautiful. You can also make the Butterflies on Roses Scribbles arrangement uisng pink and silver ribbon for the roses and making silver butterflies.

Wrap Your Gifts in Pink & Silver

Silver gift wrap with pink accents or vice-versa will carry on your color scheme. Or like the picture above, you can choose little gifts like chocolates wrapped in light pink or silver foil or a classic silver photo frame with black and white photos as your gifts.

Pink & Silver Candles

Give your bedroom a warm and romantic glow with pink and silver votive candles. Arrange them on your beside table and light up the room as the sun sets.
